Emmanuel Sterlin
was born deaf in Port-au-Prince, Haiti,
January 15, 1972. His best friend from
high school led him to the Lord shortly
after he arrived in New York in 1989.
Pastor Sterlin surrendered to preaching
the Gospel during a Pastor's School
Service. Dr. Hyles preached, "Who Will
Fill My Chair?" He went on to Hyles-Anderson
College in Crown Point Indiana where he
received his Bachelor of Science degree
in September of 1998.
Pastor
Sterlin began preaching at the young age
of 21 and is the current Pastor of
Heritage Deaf Baptist Church, New York,
where he has been since 2002. He and his
wife Beverly Mack have been married for
10 years and have five precious
children: Emmanuel, Cheyenna, Belvin,
Abigail and Troy
